Set in a 2.4sq.km. beautifully landscaped park, Nong Nooch Garden can easily make an all-day trip. The entire area is more like a theme park, with daily cultural shows, restaurants and accommodation as well as a vast area showcasing individually themed gardens. A leisurely stroll through the botanical park is like taking a journey around the world, through its many famous gardens, whether 17th-century French garden, Stonehenge, or European Renaissance garden. Equally fascinating are species-specific gardens, such as cactus and succulent plants, orchid nurseries, tropical palm gardens, bonsai and topiary garden.

Open in 1980, Nong Nooch Botanical Garden was named after its inventor Nong Nooch Tansacha who was inspired by the beauty of several world-renowned gardens she had visited on a trip aboard. Expertly designed and constantly maintained to a tiptop condition, it’s no wonder that Nong Nooch Garden remains a popular destination for local and foreign visitors alike.

Apart from the botanical park, Nong Nooch Garden features daily shows at the Thai Cultural Hall. Enjoy the spectacle of sights and sounds in a classical Thai dance, Muay Thai or ancient drum performance, as well as the elephant talent shows. Other activities include paddle boats, elephant rides and cycling.

Admission fee : Adult tickets are 400 THB (12 US dollars), that gives you full access to the park and includes an Amazing Thai Cultural and Elephant show. Daily cultural and elephant shows are available for tourists with show times at 10.15 am and 3.45 pm

Time to visit the garden : A full day is recommended to spend at Nong Nooch - to visit activities and attractions – With almost 600 acres (1500 Rai) of land and so many exquisite gardens. with a detailed maps and convenient shuttle services it is possible to see the park within a half day.
