The Sanctuary of Truth - Pattaya
The Sanctuary of Truth is a very large wooden structure rising one hundred and five meters high, overlooking the ocean from a rocky hill top and is the most spectacular sight in North Pattaya, situated on over thirty two acres of land.The Sanctuary of Truth, should be top of every visitor’s Pattaya sightseeing itinerary. Few sights are as unique and wonderful as the Sanctuary of Truth Pattaya. The Sanctuary of Truth is located in the Naklua area and is a short trip from most Pattaya Hotels. A tour can be booked through most travel agents, though is not necessary as a baht bus (songtaew) can be hired to take you there. The cost will depend on how many people and how good you bartering skills are. It is recommended you talk to your driver to arrange a pick up when you are through, get his phone number. Most drivers will stick around and wait for you if you have booked privately. If you choose to send your driver away, be aware that you may be waiting around some time before another baht bus turns up if it has been a slow day. You may have to walk to the main road to catch a ride home.
How to get there
From North Pattaya Road, turn right into Naklua Road at the circle before you get to Pattaya Beach Road. Turn left into Naklua Soi 12, and travel right towards the end.
